Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms govern your use of TimetableFit, a web application for generating university course timetables and exam schedules. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use the service on behalf of an institution, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
1. The service
TimetableFit lets you enter classrooms, teachers, courses and terms, generates timetables from that data, and lets you export or share the results. We may improve, change or discontinue features over time; material changes to these terms will be announced in the application or by email.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use the service. Keep your sign-in details confidential and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Each account is a separate workspace. Data you enter is visible only to you and to people you share links with.
3. Credits and payment
Generating a timetable or exam schedule consumes credits. New accounts receive a small number of free credits; further credits are purchased as packages, or as a term pass that covers unlimited generations for one department and term. A generation that completes with conflicts still uses a credit, because the conflict report is part of the result; a credit is refunded only if the generation fails for technical reasons.
Purchases are processed by our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd, which issues the receipt and handles taxes and refunds. Credits do not expire and cannot be transferred between accounts. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy: unused purchases can be refunded within 14 days; used credits and used term passes are not refundable. Prices may change; the price shown at the time of purchase applies.
4. Your data and your responsibility
You retain all rights to the data you enter. You grant us the licence needed to store and process it in order to provide the service, including generating timetables and rendering share pages.
Timetables are generated from the constraints you provide. Always review a schedule before publishing it; we cannot verify that your inputs reflect reality (room capacities, teacher availability, enrolment numbers).
5. Share links
Share links are public: anyone who has the address can view the shared timetable without an account. Share them only with people who may see that information, and revoke links you no longer need. We are not responsible for onward distribution of a link you shared.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access other users’ data, interfere with the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
7. Availability and liability
We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as missed classes or rescheduled exams.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us; your data is then removed as described in the Privacy Policy. We may terminate the service with reasonable notice, in which case unused purchased credits are refunded pro rata.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are subject to the courts of Istanbul, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence.
